Villanova University

Villanova University is a private, Catholic research university located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. Founded in 1842 by the Augustinian order, Villanova is the only university in the world founded by the Order of Saint Augustine, and its Augustinian values — truth, community, unity, and service — shape the student experience across every school. Its close proximity to Philadelphia gives students easy access to internships, corporate visits, and a major East Coast business hub, while a residential, tight-knit campus culture supports strong peer and alumni networks.

Villanova Consulting Group (VCG) offers free consulting, research, networking, and workshops. Its site lists 150+ members and 20+ clients. Villanova’s career pages describe it as a student society for all majors. Programs include:

General body meetings cover industry trends and case interview prep. VCG also has a freshman curriculum.
Engagement teams of 10 students run semester-long projects with real clients. Past clients include HRBench, Family Golf & Learning Center, and the Philadelphia Union Foundation.
Networking events bring employers to campus at least once a month.
Industry Analyst Program has students write industry outlooks for the VCG site and newsletter.
