Kearney Interview Prep
The interview process at Kearney typically involves two rounds, although the specifics can vary by region. In the first round, candidates usually participate in two interviews. Each of these interviews includes a short case interview designed to evaluate communication and problem-solving skills. Kearney's case interviews are known for being challenging and highly numerical, requiring a solid understanding of cost-related aspects of the profit equation.
In addition to the case interview, interviewers will assess overall fit by examining your experience, core competencies, and potential client impact. It is crucial to be prepared to discuss any prior sourcing work, regardless of how long ago it occurred or the scale of the project.
The final round generally includes two case/fit interviews and, for Associates, a structured case presentation. During the case presentation, candidates are given a data-rich case to analyze and prepare independently before presenting their findings to an interviewer or a panel. This part of the interview process tests both analytical abilities and presentation skills, ensuring candidates can handle complex scenarios effectively.
