Employers keep saying the same thing: students arrive prepared to interview, but not prepared to work.

The University of Kansas took that seriously. Working with Management Consulted and EY, KU built a National Multidisciplinary Case Competition that moves students away from standard coursework and into competitive, team-based problems pulled from real corporate challenges.

Employer partners don't just show up at career fairs. They're in the room giving direct feedback – and the students who impress them get remembered long before recruiting season starts.

Join Stephanie Schmitz from the University of Kansas and Eden Sexton from Management Consulted on July 29 at 1PM ET to see how it was built and what it produced.

You'll leave with:

  • A framework for using case competitions to get employers more meaningfully involved in student development, not just hiring
  • A model for integrating experiential learning across disciplines, not just business schools
  • A clear picture of how student engagement changed when the work was real and the feedback came from executives, not professors

If you want to explore how MC partners with career offices – resources, programming, or direct candidate support – book a quick call with Eden below.
