Emerton

Emerton Data is the data and AI arm of Emerton, a strategy consulting firm founded by former BCG, Bain, McKinsey and OC&C directors. The unit launched in Paris in 2018 and now works out of Paris, London, Munich, New York and Hong Kong.

The firm’s model pairs strategy consulting with hands-on data science. Consultants work on projects like AI due diligence for private equity investors, pricing models and supply chain optimization, often alongside Emerton’s strategy teams on the same client.

That shows up in hiring. Many roles are dual-track strategy consultant and data scientist positions. Candidates go through strategy case interviews, data case interviews and a Python coding test, so both skill sets need to be strong.
