Ex-McKinsey, Rice University MBA, MD Anderson PhD

Jon was an Associate at McKinsey Houston and holds an MBA from Rice University and a PhD from UTHealth in Houston. As an MBA student, he led case coaching and helped students secure full-time and internship offers from MBB and Big 4 firms. He’s conducted over 150 case interviews, reviewed resumes, and prepared candidates for behavioral interviews.

Jon is knowledgeable about recruiting for MBA and advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MD, JD) roles. He participated in recruiting efforts for Rice University MBA programs, the Hispanic Latino Network, and PhD/MD/JD programs in Houston. Jon conducted over 20 interviews and is familiar with McKinsey’s behavioral assessment and case interview grading criteria. He can provide targeted feedback to candidates, from undergraduates to advanced degree holders, to improve their chances of success.

During Jon’s three years at McKinsey, he worked on projects in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his dog Astro, working out at OTF, and feeding a passion for all things tech / science in TV and movies.
