Learning how to think like a consultant
Refine skills in a project setting
At some point, students need to apply what they’re learning. That’s why our workshops are interactive and why we facilitate case competitions.
An MC Case Competition gives students a chance to conduct research and analysis, as well as develop a final deliverable, in response to a real-world problem.
We host 1 day case competitions to provide valuable and fun experience for your students. MC brings a unique case and the judges – all your students have to do is show up!
Students will go through a fast-paced, simulated problem-solving and teamwork experience and learn how to think like a consultant on the job.
Students will learn and apply a wide variety of professional skills. including:
- Team leadership
- Formulating business strategy
- Financial modeling
- Presentation building
- Firm Exposure
Want to invite your employer partners to join the judges’ panel at the end of the case competition? It’s a great way to give your students additional exposure to employers.
You may even want to host a networking mixer afterwards for more connection!
The experience provided a nice preview of the consulting world to me. It also helped me understand basic principles of how consultants generally think.Undergraduate student
During the case competition, each team will receive mentorship and coaching from an MC coach.
