More about Mark
Ex-McKinsey
Mark is a former consultant at McKinsey, where he spent over 2 years working with clients in financial services, B2B distribution, and consumer retail. His work focused on growth strategy, large-scale transformations, and data risk and governance. He is now the Director of Strategy at CI Financial, one of Canada’s largest asset managers, where he helps lead firm-wide strategic and distribution initiatives.
Coming from a non-target school, Mark spent nearly a year rigorously preparing for MBB interviews — ultimately earning offers from two of the three firms he interviewed with. That journey gave him a deep understanding of the recruiting process and a set of personalized, effective strategies that consistently help candidates succeed.
While at McKinsey, Mark was also actively involved in recruiting by supporting resume reviews, behavioral interviews, and candidate coaching. He has conducted over 150 mock case interviews and has helped students from diverse backgrounds — from undergraduates to advanced degree holders — secure offers from top firms.
Mark is very passionate about helping candidates break into management consulting with his proprietary tips and tricks, and brings firsthand insight into what MBB looks for. He offers targeted, honest feedback on casing, storytelling, and fit.
Outside of work, he enjoys personal fitness, spending time outdoors, cooking, and watching great movies!
