More about Ish Mawla

Ish is a former consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Detroit, where he focused on healthcare, public sector, social impact, and people & organization practice areas. He earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.

At BCG, Ish was actively engaged in recruitment efforts, including leading case preparation sessions for MBA students at top business schools, facilitating workshops for the advanced degree “Bridge to BCG” program, and conducting numerous first-round interviews.

These experiences provided him with an insider’s perspective on what top consulting firms seek in candidates, a perspective he now brings to his tailored coaching approach. Ish is dedicated to supporting his mentees throughout their case preparation journey, offering personalized strategies to help them excel.

When he is not working, Ish enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling to new cities, and exploring global cuisines.
