We’re glad you asked. A former MBB consultant manages the entire editing process, supported by the best team in the industry. They are responsible for rewriting your cover letter, perfecting your resume, and working with you over the phone if you select a package that includes phone service. Our team is the BEST in the industry – insightful, articulate and even funny. We work with you to create a highly personalized resume and cover letter.

You bet you can! You have 30 days from the day you purchase your package to upgrade. Upgrade from basic resume or cover letter editing to the Resume/Cover Letter Edits package, or from the R/CL Edits to Black Belt Deluxe.

You can use the 1/2 hour of included coaching time (1, 30-minute slot to use before or during the process) to speak to any coach about your documents. We do also provide basic resume and cover letter editing, but those are email-only.

You can, but we don’t recommend it. We become masters of your story, and working with both together is optimal – why make a perfect cover letter when your resume won’t pass? Why invest in your resume when your cover letter will get you tossed? And why do them at different times, when we could draw from insights across both?

This makes us the perfect size – we are experts across geographies and different industry verticals (from strategy to technology and beyond), but not a factory. Your resume gets highly personalized attention, and our clients are regularly blown away by the overhaul we provide.

We edit 1000+ documents every year and review hundreds more through our on-site bootcamps. We draw on rich insights from the insider resume review processes at the most competitive firms (like McKinsey and Bain) but do understand what Deloitte, Accenture, and 120+ boutiques are also looking for. Definitely. We work to build a best-practice resume you can use for every professional application you do – investment banking, corporate strategy, and even accounting. Who has time to make 20 different resume versions? The only things these won’t be perfect for are non-professional roles, like working in a restaurant or a creative industry like photography.

We can! We travel all over the world for our Consulting Bootcamps, and we meet you everywhere! We work with U.S. students who apply abroad, professionals in the U.K. that want to work in Asia, and literally every combination of “where you are” and “where you want to be.” We understand that expectations, while quite similar across firms regardless of geography, are nuanced based on your years of work experience and the region you are applying in.

First of all, it’s important to know that our work is highly respected in the industry, and firms regularly refer clients to us – they want to see your best presentation. That being said, we work really hard to make sure your resume is not the same as the next guy’s. We’re not a resume factory; we’re a premium, personalized service. We use 12 of our own templates and the ones you send us too, and every resume and cover letter is different.

First, we provide EDITS – not reviews. We do the work for you instead of telling you what you should do.

Second, we provide 2 rounds of edits – we work with you and incorporate your insights, feedback and data in between rounds.

Editing services are non-refundable, but they also never expire. In addition, you can transfer or sell unused services to another aspiring applicant.
