Knowing yourself at work is directly related to your job performance.
Discover how you function at work, and watch your productivity skyrocket.
Become a better leader and contributor with the Work Style Intensive.
There are myriad tests designed to help you know who you are at work (DISC, StrengthsFinder, Myers-Briggs, etc.), but few resources dedicated to helping you understand how you operate at work.
We created the GMC Framework to remedy the issue. GMC stands for Ghost, Mouse, Cricket – the 3 distinct work styles that show up in teams.
In the Work Style Intensive, you’ll learn how you – and others – function in the workplace so you can more effectively Manage Up, Down, and Out.
Each work style is fully unique, with its own strengths and weaknesses, and each brings something valuable to any organization.
Are you ready to become more effective in your work?
If you spend one-third of your life in your career (that’s a lot of hours!), doesn’t it make sense to make the most of your time at work?
The Work Style Intensive is designed to help you understand your work style to unlock your strengths and compensate for your weaknesses. Go from middle-of-the-pack worker to top performer.
Not only will you reduce friction between different work styles on your team, but your own day-to-day tasks will become more rewarding (and fun) as a byproduct.
I'm in the Work Style Class - thanks for the helpful info. It's terrific! - McKayla, PhD at MIT
If your primary work style is the Ghost, you are someone that works best without much oversight. You like nothing better than the feeling of being "in the zone" and crushing through your task list without interruption. However, meetings are likely the bane of your existence and a source of frustration.
In the Work Style Intensive, you'll learn how to bring your opinion to the table, and work more congruently within a team context.
A Mouse tends to be quiet, sometimes even passive, but is an incredibly task-oriented teammate. However, a Mouse is easily sidelined by trivial tasks and needs structure in order to keep priorities straight.
The Intensive will help Mice move towards proactive communication and asking for help when stuck.
Crickets are perhaps the easiest work style to spot. They aren't afraid to speak their mind and ask for help quickly. Collaborating with people in the day-to-day of a job is one of the most rewarding aspects of a Cricket's work. However, Crickets can come across as codependent and are often micro-managers as leaders.
The Work Style Intensive will help move the Cricket towards coming to the table with an opinion of what needs to be done.
On every team, there are a diverse set of personalities and, yes, work styles. It's essential to understand yourself so you can increase your empathy to those who think and work different than you.
That's exactly what the Intensive will give you - an increased capacity to manage and work together with contrasting work styles.
All times 11AM EST / 8AM PST. Session recordings will be provided to all registrants – we’d love to have you live, but it’s not mandatory.
