I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 8 years. Prior to that, I was an Army officer. Additionaly, I graduated 4.5 years ago with an MBA from a prestigious university, which I earned by working full-time. Bottomline is that I have a lot of leadership experience and went to a good school. I've always wanted to go into consulting but am really struggling to even speak to a recruiter. I fear that the perception of my pharma rep job is hurting me. How can I best position myself to get into consulting? Am I being unrealistic in thinking that I can break into the industry?
