Interesting thing about the waitlist - So, I interviewed with one of the MBB firms for an internship last spring and I didn't make the final cut after getting to decision rounds. But my interview was expedited for a full time position directly to the decision round without me even applying again. And I'm from a non-target school :)

You better not miss the opportunity to include your JD qualifications. Apart from an MBA, other post graduate degrees like PhD, MD, and JD are highly sought after by consulting firms.

Hello,

And thank you for all of your hard work, I certainly appreciate it!

This is my situation. I immigrated here from Europe. I am 'older' and graduated college with a somewhat low GPA, almost 10 years ago. I have some solid work experience in sales and not-so-solid work experience as a self employed, marketing consultant. I am also an inventor and heavily involved with non-profits, but again, nothing solid.

My dream is to one day, become a partner at Bain. Any advice?

Thanks,
B

Hi! I seem to have a unique set of circumstances. I went to law school instead of grad school, but I've never practiced law. I would like to get into management consulting instead. Am I being realistic? Is this doable? Should I even put down in my resume that I have a JD? Please help! Thx.
