I'm finishing my BS degree now and I'm about to apply for internship with BAH. Like you, I too was a green card holder. A friend of mine, who knows people from the company, told me that a US Citizenship is more desirable. I'm not sure if security clearances are required in some levels at BAH, but what I know for sure is that you won't qualify for a security clearance unless you're a US Citizen.

Not entirely true. I applied on their website and got a interview request a few hours later. After a phone screening, I have a in person interview coming up. It's all about having what they want and making sure it fits with the job description.

I would say if
you don't hear back in a day or two they've determined your resume doesn't fit what they are looking for.

Hi Rick - with a Masters degree and 20 years work experience how come you entered at the Associate (Level 3) level? Was it a trial buffer to test your fit with the company before promoting you to Senior Associate Level within an agreed time frame? I would have figured they would have had you enter at the SA level. Thanks!

Great information, thanks so much. #2 confirms a suspicion of mine that the online route really doesn't work well. I think that when a company has a set forum for actively recruiting new employees, i.e. universities, it's best to go that route if at all possible--even if it means heading back to school. You have to pay to play, right?
