Why are there no “technical questions”?

Unlike finance, management consulting interviews rarely ask technical questions. The closest you’ll come are questions about current business topics (which are addressed). I do actually. Your book focuses very much on S&O quite a bit (and is very helpful), but i am also interviewing for a Human Capital Consulting Summer Position (what i am really interested in), any tips on that? what will their case questions look like? are they kind of the same?
on a different note, i love your answers to the fit questions. I have my own versions, but i now know how indepth to go!
any tips about deloitte’s consulting team?
